Problem: Make a composition using only 1 type of line, 1 type of curvilinear shape, and 1 type of rectilinear shape. At least 1 of each shape/line must be used however, the composition may not have more than 6 total lines/shapes. Additionally, 4 colors must be present in each composition. Then 4 compositions were arranged in the most interesting design to make a single composition. Colored Paper on paper 12"x16" October 2013

Problem: Compose a design using outlines of 3 different letters or numbers. Overlap outlines of the letters or numbers and erase some lines to conceal or reveal the recognizable shapes of the numbers or letters. Finally fill in the different shapes in the following ways: Outlines, black gray and white 65% dark, black gray and white 65% light, Black and white gradients, Color: Tint dominated, Shade dominated, Warm color dominated, and Cool color dominated.
